Tonight's dinner

A lite sunday dinner after a heavy breakfast is what we wanted to have. What else is better than a homemade roasted tomato soup with fresh sauteed garlic mushrooms and cheesy garlic bread.

Roasted tomato soup: oven roasted fresh tomatoes, garlic and onions with a pinch of salt and a drizzle of olive oil. Blend it with a little water in a blender and simmer with salt olive oil and tomato paste and a few finely chopped basil leaves. Topped with a dollop of fresh cream.

Cheesy garlic bread: minced garlic mixed in lurpak butter with a pinch of salt and spread over the slices of french baguette bought from my favourite bread place 'slice of life', topped with mozerella cheese from 'farmers cheese making', baked under the hot grill and voila!

Garlic Mushrooms: fresh mushrooms are love and when sauteed in garlic and butter, it produces this delicious nutty flavour. Bought a pack of fresh button mushrooms from Agha's, sliced and sauteed in garlic, butter, olive oil, salt and sprinkled with chopped parsley.
